Once the Spanish exchange students had been to Dortmund in October and we started to develop Decision Tables exercises and methods together, it was time for us to go to Bilbao and present the final results of the join project between the two universities consisting of Decision Tables about transport system in several cities around the world.
At the host university we had a warm reception from the staff, the students were still working at the time of our arrival, but they joined us later. During the mean time we had a presentation about the University, historical facts regarding the city and the region. It was very good to see that they are very proud of their independency and level of development compared to the other regions in Spain.
Classes were spread during the whole time of our stay, but since night was free for us, the Spanish students took us to see the night life of the city, and of course they were very keen on the tradition of eating and drinking in several bars, called “Tapas”, before going to a night club. It was the perfect warm up for us, we could walk, see the city and observe the local life.
